What does The Asterisk (*) Symbol next to the Resource Price/Unit in Primavera P6 mean?

In Primavera, sometimes we see an Asterisk (*) symbol appear next to Resource Price/Unit.

What does it mean? I’ll explain it here.

You have a resource which will be increased salary from 1-Jul-2016. So you will define resource Units & Prices like this:

Then you assign that resource to an activity which happen from Jun until July.

The price of the resource is different between Jun and Jul.

So Primavera will display an Asterisk (*) in the Price/Unit column to notify you.
