While making activity list for a project, we usually have to insert Activity. So the final Activity list don’t have a nice ascending sequence like below picture:
We want all activities ID to be ascending nicely.
So we select all activities, go to menu Edit -> Renumber Activity ID. Edit the Prefix if necessary, and click OK
But the activity ID is not perfectly ascending.
What’s wrong?
I will show you how to make it perfectly ascending.
Before we run Renumber Activity ID, we go to menu View -> Group and Sort, Click on Sort button, Click Delete button to delete the Sort criteria.
Click OK.
Now we run the Renumber Activity ID like above step.
The Activity ID now is perfectly ascending
Dear Sir,
I want to know one thing that I have some issues during creating of my baseline schedule … are u doing any kind of online lec’s in which you prepared a baseline schedule(using P6 as a tool) from its beginning to its end like calendar settings to resource loading or generation of cash flow s-curve….
