How to start learning Oracle Primavera P6 and get Primavera Certified Specialist Certificate

Step 1:

Before learning P6, you should have a basic knowledge of Project management or scheduling. You can get it from reading material for PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate from PMI (You can google for this kind of material).

Step 2:

There are 2 version of Primavera P6.

If your company is using Primavera P6 Professional, join 2 following courses:

Primavera P6 Professional Fundamentals Rel 17 Ed 1

This is the basic course, latest version 17. It’s 3 full days. This is the course outline.

Primavera P6 Professional Advanced Rel 17 Ed 1

This is the advanced course, latest version 17. It’s 2 full days. This is the course outline.

If your company is using Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management, join 2 following courses:

Primavera P6 Fundamentals Rel 17

This is the basic course, latest version 17. It’s 3 full days. This is the course outline.

Primavera P6 Advanced Rel 17

This is the advanced course, latest version 17. It’s 2 full days. This is the course outline.

You can learn these courses directly from Oracle company or through their Education partner. Oracle has Education partner in all countries around the world.

Oracle or their Education partner will give you Certificate when you finish training course.

Step 3:

Apply knowledge from training course to your current work. By practice everyday in your work, I’m sure your Primavera P6 skill will be improved day by day.

How to get Primavera P6 Certified Specialist certificate:

However, for an end-user (people only use the software, not install, configure, maintain) you will not need this certificate. This one is just for person who need to install, configure, customize… Primavera P6 so that it can meet user’s requirement.
