How to display just One Critical path with Multiple projects open in Primavera P6

In Primavera we can work with multiple projects at the same time.

We have a Program contain 2 projects : Project 1 and Project 2.

Each project has its own critical path. And when we open 2 projects, by default Primavera show 2 critical paths.

What if we want to show only 1 critical path for the program.

I will show you how to do it.

Click F9 -> Option

In “Calculate float based on finish date of”. Check on “Opened projects”

Click Close and run Schedule.

Now we can see Primavera display only 1 critical path. It based on the Finish date of Project 2 to calculate the Total Float.
