How to remove actual / progress from Primavera P6 schedule

We have a Primavera schedule with actual data. Now we want to remove the actual so that we can have an As-Planned schedule.

I will show you how to do it in this article.

We have a simple project with actual data.

First we go to Project window -> Calculation tab. Highlight our project, and Check in 2 option :

• “Link Budget and At Completion for not started activities”
• “Reset Remaining Duration and Units to Original”

Go back to Activity window.

Supposed that we have only Labor resource in this project. Now we will reset Unit and Cost to zero.

Go to Tool -> Global Change. Click New. Select the value as display in this picture.

Click on Change button. Primavera will show us the Preview of change.

Click on Commit Changes.

Now Resource actual data has been removed.

Now we will reset the activity date.

Go to Tool -> Global Change. Click New. Select the value as display in this picture.

Click on Change button. Primavera will show us the Preview of change.

Click on Commit Changes.

Now Date actual data has been removed.

Now we will reset the Data Date.

Click F9 and select Data Date equal to Project Planned Start date.

Click Schedule.

Now we have the As-Planned schedule.
